High School Athletics Awards Presentation is set for Wednesday, May 26th in the stadium at 5pm. Please come on out and listen about our great year of athletics! Tickets are available on the box office on the school website!
Correction: GVES Online students are invited to attend field day on Thursday, May 27th. K-2 online students can attend from 12:00-2pm and 3rd-5th grade can attend 9:30-12pm. Please have students bring a mask and water bottle. Students will be provided lunch. Thank you !
Hello GVES! Due to the weather forecast, our field day is now going to be held on Thursday, May 27th. We want our students to have the most enjoyable time they can have without having to worry about rain. I apologize for any inconvenience.
Online students are invited to attend field day. K-2 online students can attend from 9:30-12:00 and 3rd-5th grade can attend 12:00-2:10pm. Please come in the elementary office door and have students bring a water bottle. Thank you and have a great evening!

These documents include details about securing tickets, graduation rehearsal, the awards ceremony, baccalaureate, and the graduate checklist. Please reference these documents and our seniors' emails for all up-to-date information.

Shout Outs!
Emily Carlson participated in the OMEA District 5 Solo/Ensemble Contest held virtually in March 2021. She performed a Class A Trombone Solo, Galliard Sonata No. 1 and a Class A Vocal solo, Se Florindo e Fedele (in Italian). She received an Excellent (II) Rating for the trombone solo and a Superior (I) rating for her vocal solo.
The following students have auditioned for and earned membership in the Cleveland Youth Wind Symphony for the 2020-2021 school year:

Emily Carlson - Trombone, Group I
Ben Cozad - Trumpet, Group II
Membership in CYWS is earned through an audition process and the groups are among the most prestigious bands in Northeast Ohio.
