GVMS Volunteers on a Friday night at the Eagle Pointe Cider fest!

This week marked the beginning of Start with Hello Week, a national campaign through the Sandy Hook Promise which strives to reduce social isolation, to build unity, and to help us recognize our interconnectedness. The GV family participated in meeting someone new each day this week and to discover something unique about them. Students wrote on green paper their experience and they were hung on the wall.
Have a great weekend GV!

GVMS 7th grade students and staff recently attended the Youth Leadership Summit presented by All Choices Matter. Our students had the privilege to hear inspirational stories from many leaders in our community who shared their personal journeys, answered students questions, and discussed ways for our students to become leaders in their own lives.

In Mr. Strohm’s class, 27 GVHS students will have 100 word stories published from a competition they entered late last year. The book will also go to the Library of Congress!
