GV travels to Fairport tomorrow with a Girls/Boys Varsity DH. Girls start at 5pm.
GVHS Juniors at homebase received valuable information about how to conquer the ACT during a junior class session on January 10th.
Our juniors will be taking the free state ACT on March 11, 2025 here on our GV campus. Juniors were encouraged to study the test taking materials provided in the session and prepare for the upcoming test to maximize their scores.
Please ask your junior to review the provided documents in the Guidance Google Classroom (pgvvwec).

GVHS Seniors are well on their way to scholarship season!
On Wednesday, January 15th seniors reviewed how to access our scholarship materials to help secure funds for their post-secondary goals.
Copies of our scholarship season recommendations have been emailed to each senior as well.
Please review these procedures with your student and encourage your senior to check the scholarship list for updates each Friday as part of your spring scholarship pursuits.

Our Grand Valley FFA students attended a Greenhand/Chapter Award Ceremony last night. The celebration is dedicated to recognizing the achievements of our first year and second year members who have earned their Greenhand and Chapter Awards.
Congrats!
Grand Valley Wrestling will travel to Garrettsville for a tri-match on 1/16 @ 6:00 pm.
Our Senior Officers held a Dodgeball Tournament before Christmas break and they raised $320.00 which will be donated to the organization of their choice, The Salvation Army.
Shout out to Ava, Sam, Kira and Kaitlyn for organizing this event from start to finish!

This is a reminder that there will be an informational meeting for any students in grades 6-11 who are interested in participating in the College Credit Plus programs next year.
(CCP is available for students in grades 7-12.)
On our campus we offer computers, math, English, science, and history courses at Youngstown State University and Kent State Ashtabula right here in our GV seats. You may also explore CCP options off campus.
If you are interested, please plan to attend the session on Thursday, January 16th at 5:30 p.m. in the high school study hall.
Questions regarding college acceptance, letters of intent, and course options will be addressed by a Kent State University representative who is an expert in the field.
